Manchester offers monthly training
classes.
Trainings Include:
Video Production 1 - What is Public Access? Introduction
to rules and regulations. Tour of the facilities and a basic Camcorder/Tripod
class.
Video Production 2 - Hands-on learning of equipment in the Studio and Control Room with a participation in a mock Studio Shoot directing a multi-camera shoot. Instruction is provided in the use of studio cameras, video switcher, audio board, character generator, and basic lighting techniques.
CG ( Character Generator ) - An extensive titling graphics training on the Compix Character Generator that goes beyond the basic applications learned in Video Production 2. An overview on which font styles to utilize ( size, color, and location ) and the ability to import picture and/or clip art backgrounds. This class is held on an individual basis.
Edit Training - These classes cover basic
linear and/or non-linear editing techniques using transitions, graphics,
voice-overs, music inserts, and are held on an individual basis.
If your project requires titles or graphics, a CG training class is recommended
prior to the Edit Training class.
Mobile Studio - Training is provided for
camera set up and equipment operation. The Mobile Studio allows a producer
to cover a multi-camera community event/program on location.
All Trainees must attend Video Production 1 and 2 and have experience
with multiple live and/or live-to-tape Studio Shoots
